A safety reminder at our Trane facility in Trenton, N.J. At American Standard, we want our people to return home at the end of each day the same way they came in: safe and healthy. We know that having a strong and healthy workforce means our people are motivated and productive. So we've developed a safety strategy that encompasses three important areas:
We continually work this strategy with the ultimate goal of becoming world-class in safety. We want to have zero injuries and illnesses. Culture and People We recognize the importance of our people, a critical part of our safety culture. Focusing on safety is the right thing to do for our people, because no one comes to work expecting to get hurt. So we are committed to creating a workplace that is above all things, safe. Our people are truly engaged in safety, not simply treating it as a process to be learned or a set of rules to be followed. More than ever before, they are thinking of the safest ways to perform tasks, whether they work in our offices, our plants, our design centers or in sales and service roles.
