American Standard’s mission is to “Be the best in the eyes of our customers, employees and shareholders.”

To support this mission, in May 2002, we launched a set of company-wide values. “A global set of values is imperative to define how we behave individually and collectively, as a company,” according to Chairman Fred Poses.

In December 2002, as part of our company values initiative, American Standard launched an updated Code of Conduct and Ethics. The code applies to everyone in the company, including officers and members of the Board of Directors.
